EPC's
It has been a legal requirement, since 1 October 2008, for all landlords to have a valid EPC for their property before it can be let. Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) give information on how to make your home more energy efficient and reduce your energy costs. All homes bought, sold or let require an EPC.
Valid for 10 years, an EPC assesses the energy performance of a property, from “A” representing the most energy efficient property to “G” representing the least energy efficient property. It must be carried out by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and will also show a building’s environmental impact by indicating its carbon dioxide emissions.
Cedar Estates are able to arrange for an EPC to be carried out for £90 including VAT. We will also keep a digital copy in case yours is misplaced.
